If your search engine or web directory isn't listed on Search Engines 2, and you would like a FREE listing, please submit your search engine or web directory to us for consideration, using the form at the bottom of this page.
If your search engine or web directory is already listed on Search Engines 2, you can apply for a top ranking on the page where your website is listed, by adding a link to the Search Engines 2 website on your site, and then informing us about it, using the form at the bottom of this page.
Note that Search Engines 2 is by far the largest and most comprehensive website of its kind on the web. Websites ranked at, or near, the top of the page are likely to attract the bulk of the visitors that view the webpage. If you link us at the top of your webpage, we'll go the extra mile and make sure your website is moved to the top rankings on the webpage where it is listed.

Please read these terms and conditions, before moving onto the submission form.
- IMPORTANT NOTICE: Search Engines 2 is a directory of search engines or web directories. Therefore, we only accept submissions from search engines and web directories. Submissions from ALL other websites will be rejected.
- Submissions are only accepted from websites that offer English content, or an English translation of the website's content, if the website is in a foreign language.
- You must add a link to the Search Engines 2 website, using the text or image button link HTML code provided on the Link To Us webpage, to at least one webpage on the website being submitted.
- The webpage that contains the text or image button link to the Search Engines 2 website must:
- be accessible by the public.
- be indexable and crawlable by search engine spiders and bots. i.e. not hidden behind a password protected webpage.
- not contain more than 100 outgoing hyperlinks that leave the website.
- not be displayed in a tiny font size or color that hides the link.
- If you are linking to Search Engines 2 with an image button link, you must link to a copy of the image button on your web server.
- Each website can only be submitted once every 3 months. Multiple submissions, within a short space of time, will result in the automatic rejection of the website.
- Each website can only have one webpage (usually the homepage) listed in the Search Engines 2 website.
- If upon reviewing your submission, a link to the Search Engines 2 website is not found on your website as indicated, the website will be rejected.
- Search Engines 2 will continually monitor the link on your website to ensure that a permanent link exists. Removal of a link to Search Engines 2 will result in the permanent removal of your website from the directory.
- Submissions from websites that contain, or link to, the following types of content are automatically rejected; illegal, gambling, pornographic, extreme violence, foul language, offensive, abusive, racist, warez, cracks, hacks, piracy, free-for-all link pages, banner or link farms, or websites containing poor quality content.
- Failure to comply with any of the terms and conditions on this page will automatically result in the rejection of the website.
Add URL Submission:
Whether you are submitting a new listing, or applying for an improvement in rankings for an existing listing, please follow these instructions:
- Add a link to the Search Engines 2 website on your site, using one of the text or image button link HTML codes in the Link To Us webpage. After you have added the link, return to this page.
- Complete and submit this Add URL submission form (* Required fields):
Once you click the "Submit" button, wait a few seconds. A small window containing a confirmation message should appear. Do not click the "Submit" button repeatedly, as this causes multiple submissions to be sent.
If the window doesn't appear, try turning off any popup stopping software or web browser plugins you have installed, and try again.
When you see the confirmation window, it means your submission was successfully sent. Consequently, you should receive an automated email reply within a few minutes. If you don't receive this email, you probably mistyped your email address, and need to resubmit.
Your website will be reviewed within 1-10 business days (excluding bank and public holidays). You can check the webpage where your website is expected to be listed, to see whether your webpage has been added. If your website does not appear in the directory within 10 business days, it means your website was not accepted.
We try to include every website that is submitted to us, but we reserve the right to reject a website, for any reason, without having to give an explanation.
